Travis Czech is an independent Laurentian Valley councillor candidate, Canadian Armed Forces veteran, technology and cybersecurity professional, educator, and community volunteer in the Upper Ottawa Valley.

For more than fourteen years, Travis served in the Canadian Armed Forces. That experience reinforced a simple approach to leadership: listen carefully, understand the mission, support the team, manage risk, and follow through.
His civilian work has included software development, solutions architecture, cybersecurity, technical leadership, and post-secondary teaching. Across those roles, he has helped people turn complex information into practical decisions—a skill that matters when Council is weighing service levels, infrastructure, growth, and affordability.
Travis has also contributed through local volunteer governance and community organizations. He is running to bring a service mindset, clear communication, and collaborative problem-solving to Laurentian Valley Council.

Why I am running
Municipal decisions shape the details of daily life.
Municipal government is where long-term plans become the roads we drive, the services we rely on, the places we gather, and the tax bills households and businesses must manage. I am running because Laurentian Valley deserves decisions that are practical, well-explained, and grounded in the long-term interests of the whole township.
