Priority 01
Plan infrastructure before problems become emergencies
Use condition, safety, service demand, and lifecycle cost to set clear priorities for roads, drainage, water, wastewater, facilities, and equipment.
What I will advocate for
- Support a transparent, multi-year capital plan that residents can follow.
- Rank projects using evidence: asset condition, safety, growth pressure, service impact, and total lifecycle cost.
- Push for early identification of infrastructure capacity and costs when development is proposed.
- Coordinate with the County of Renfrew, Pembroke, Petawawa, senior governments, and utilities to pursue grants and shared solutions.
How residents can track progress
- Capital projects delivered against plan
- Project cost and schedule variance
- Grant and partnership funding secured
- Service interruptions and recurring problem areas
